BATH SELF-GUIDED AUDIO WALKING TOUR
Enjoy a self-guided audio tour exploring a historic and beautiful part of Bath away from the crowds of the city centre. This is one of my favourite walks in Bath and one I often enjoy with friends when they visit.
The tour takes in an area of Bath often missed by tourists. Starting near the Abbey in the centre of Bath you will walk along the river and explore the magnificent Pulteney Estate, renowned for its famous Pulteney Bridge and Bath's longest boulevard. You will visit Bath's Sydney Gardens and enjoy a walk along the historic and picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal.
During the tour you will hear stories about the places you pass by. You will discover why there is a stone temple in a park, why Bath's river is called the Avon, how a sun dial is connected to pigs and much much more! The tour takes approx. 90 minutes depending on your walking speed.
Price: £4.25. If you plan on doing this walk with other people it is recommended to purchase one tour for each phone so that everyone can listen on their own phone.

To use the audio tour you will need a mobile phone, head-phones and a free 3rd party audio tour app. This app is in use across the world offering audio tours in different cities. It uses your phone's GPS to give you commentary when you reach a location where I would like to tell you something and will direct you where to walk. The app is available for both iPhones and Android phones on the Apple AppStore and Google Play.
After purchasing the audio tour you will be emailed instructions for downloading the audio tour and the free audio tour app. Once downloaded you can enjoy the tour at any time and day to fit in with your plans. Please call me if you have any queries.
