CHEDDAR TOUR OVERVIEW

I will collect you from your accommodation in Bath at 9:15am and drive you to Cheddar Gorge, approx. 50 minutes away.

The gorge is England's largest gorge and is my favourite scenery in the area. We will drive through the gorge and stop for a photo of the gorge.

The village of Cheddar lies at the bottom of the gorge. As the name suggests it is the birth-place of the famous cheese. We will visit the only cheese factory in Cheddar which is still making Cheddar cheese using traditional methods. We will join their special small group tour to gain a great insight into how the cheese is made and of course sample some!

On our return to Bath we will make a detour to see the Clifton Suspension Bridge. We will return to Bath between 3:30pm and 4pm. During the tour we will have a lunch stop, either at the gorge or near to the Suspension Bridge.​​

The price includes a private guide, transfers and your cheese factory experience (which will be a small group tour so there will be other people with us on this tour).​  Lunch and refreshments are not included in the price.

ADDITIONAL INFO

Once I have received your booking I will purchase your tickets for the cheese factory experience - these tickets are non-refundable and thus this part of the tour price cannot be refunded should you need to cancel the tour.​
