WALKING TOUR & VIEWPOINT
"Daniel was an absolute gem. He took our family of 5 (spanning 3 generations) on a 3-hour tour of Bath that was a highlight of our week in the UK. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, funny and professional. We cannot recommend him highly enough!"

BATH TOUR OVERVIEW
Private walking tour of Bath to give you a great introduction to the city - perfect for first-time visitors to Bath.
Explore the streets of Bath with a guide born in the city. You will see all of the famous buildings and streets and hear about Bath's history and how the city once attracted Kings and Queens. I will tell you interesting stories behind the buildings and past residents such as Jane Austen. For fans of the Bridgerton Netflix series I can also show you where a number of the scenes were filmed in Bath! This sightseeing tour also has the unique advantage of including a drive to a viewpoint to give you a great perspective of Bath.
Tour duration: 3 hours
Tour frequency: Daily
Start time: Morning or afternoon option: 9:30am or 2pm (1:30pm in winter months).
Meeting point: Your accommodation in Bath or a central location in Bath such as the railway station.

At the start of this tour you will be driven to a fantastic viewpoint over the city. After the viewpoint there will be a walking tour of Bath. Whilst COVID-19 guidelines are in place, face-coverings are required to be worn inside the vehicle (but not during the walking tour). I will supply disposable face-masks for the vehicle should you not have your own face-covering. If you prefer not to use a vehicle for this tour - the viewpoint can be excluded. For more information on these measures please click on the "We're Good to Go" logo.
The tour ends in the centre of Bath. If you are staying in the neighbouring city of Bristol I can also collect you and drop you back in Bristol for an additional fee - please contact me for details.
If your group is larger than 6 people please contact me to discuss options.
There is not time to go inside the Roman Baths or other museums on a 3 hour tour but I can happily point these out to you or guide you to one of these museums at the end of the tour.
INSIDER TIP: Whilst COVID-19 restrictions are in place many of the museums in Bath, including the Roman Baths museum, require advance booking for specific time-slots. If you would like to visit one of these before or after our tour do check the museum's website for details. If you need any assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.
INSIDER TIP 2: If you are interested in making a full day out of your sightseeing then you may like to combine this tour with a Stonehenge tour allowing you to experience two UNESCO World Heritage sites in one day. My Bath City and Stonehenge tour combines this Bath tour with a tour of Stonehenge and includes a stop at a charming village pub for lunch. Alternatively you could combine this Bath Tour with a tour of picturesque villages near Bath (Lacock and Castle Combe tour) or for something different: spend the afternoon visiting a falconry and having the opportunity to fly a hawk! Please see my Bath City Tour & Fly a Hawk Experience for more information.
