TOUR DESCRIPTION

I will collect you from the Portland Cruise Dock at 8am and drive you to the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. The journey will take approx. 2 hours depending on traffic.

We will start the tour with a visit to my favourite viewpoint over-looking the city centre to give you a great perspective of Bath. We will then drive into the centre where I will take you on a walking tour to show you the famous buildings and streets and hear about Bath's history and how the city once attracted Kings and Queens. I will tell you interesting stories behind the buildings and past residents such as Jane Austen. For fans of the Bridgerton Netflix series I can also show you where a number of the scenes were filmed in Bath!

During the tour we will visit the Roman Baths museum where you can see the remains of the ancient Roman spa that was built over the city's hot springs. You will have an unaccompanied visit around the museum (guides are not allowed to guide inside). We will also visit the Sally Lunn Cafe where you can purchase/enjoy one of the famous Sally Lunn buns.

To get you back to the cruise dock by 3pm we will depart Bath at 1pm - giving us a total of 3 hours in Bath. If you would like to spend a little longer in Bath and are happy to return to the docks after 3pm please let me know.

You have already paid for the price of the Bath City Tour on Viator so the payment on this page is for a private round-trip transfer from Portland Cruise Dock and 2 x Senior Citizen Roman Baths Museum tickets.

The only expenses on the day will be lunch, refreshments, Sally Lunn bun and any souvenirs.

We will be exposed to the weather whilst walking around Bath so please bear this in mind
for your clothing. The Roman Baths museum ticket includes complimentary audio guides.
