Private Stonehenge tour from Bath. Bath is less than 1 hour from Stonehenge making it the perfect place to do a half-day tour to one of Britain's most famous attractions.

I will guide you around the Visitor Centre and the ancient stone circle. I have visited Stonehenge over 100 times and it still impresses me each time I visit! Knowing the history and theories behind Stonehenge really enhances a visit so I will share these with you along with its unusual stories! I have attended talks by archaeologists who have worked at Stonehenge and I will share with you the latest discoveries (there were 2 major discoveries in the summer of 2020!) You will have plenty of time to explore the site and take photos.

Half-day tour. Morning or afternoon tour option: 8:30am or 1:30pm departure.

General admission tickets are included in the price. If you would like to purchase your own tickets e.g. to take advantage of an English Heritage or National Trust membership please let me know.

Tour price is £195 plus £20pp for your tickets e.g. If you are 2 people the price will be a total of £235. Between June and August Stonehenge increase the admission price so a small surcharge is included for these months.

Stonehenge has limited the number of visitors to support social-distancing and all visitors must have a pre-booked ticket for a specific time slot (which I will arrange for you).

From Bath to Stonehenge and back I will drive you in my private vehicle. Whilst COVID-19 guidelines are in place, face-coverings are required to be worn inside the vehicle and in the Visitor Centre (but not at the stone circle). I will supply disposable face-masks should you not have your own face-covering.

This tour allows you to experience the region's most famous attraction, Stonehenge, in a morning or afternoon, on a private tour from Bath. The tour includes a private guided tour around Stonehenge and includes pre-booked admission into Stonehenge.

I will drive you to Stonehenge from Bath (just under 1 hour) and I will guide you around the Visitor Centre and the stone circle to explain its history, why this particular location may have been chosen and the most recent archaeological findings. Built thousands of years ago the exact purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery. Some believe it was a ceremonial place for the Land of the Dead, others believe it to be a site of great energy. At the end of our visit you can form your own opinion!

We will spend approximately 2 hours at Stonehenge. There will be plenty of time to see Stonehenge and take photos. At the end of the tour I will drive you back to Bath.

This tour is available daily and can be done either in the morning or in the afternoon. The total tour duration is approx. 4 hours.

Pick-up is available from all Bath hotels and central locations in the city - such as the Bath Spa train station. I can also include this tour on a transfer to and from Bath (e.g. London, Southampton) - please contact me for prices.

INSIDER TIP: On certain days of the month Stonehenge provide access inside the stone circle. These take place outside of regular opening hours and may require an early start from Bath. Places are limited to 30 people and tend to book out months in advance.
