"Stonehenge without a guide is just looking at a bunch of giant rocks.
The info and stories he shared made it a magical experience. Daniel is knowledgeable and entertaining, fun to be around, and just a great person."

Stonehenge will be limiting the number of visitors in the summer of 2020 to support social-distancing and all visitors must have a pre-booked ticket for a specific time slot (which I will arrange for you). Normally to get from the Visitor Centre to the stone circle there is a short journey on a shuttle-bus. This shuttle-bus will initially be prioritised for those who with mobility difficulties. For everyone-else a 2.6 mile walking route to the stones and back has been introduced. This will involve walking on grass.
From Bath to Stonehenge and back I will drive you in my private vehicle. Whilst COVID-19 guidelines are in place, face-masks are required to be worn inside the vehicle (but not when we are outside the vehicle). I will supply disposable face-masks for the vehicle should you not have your own face-mask. The maximum number of people that you can book this tour for in July and August 2020 is 5 people.
Bath Insider Tours has been awarded the "We're Good to Go" certification by the National Tourism Board of England to recognise it is following government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has appropriate measures in place. STONEHENGE TOUR DESCRIPTION
This tour allows you to experience the region's most famous attraction, Stonehenge, in a morning or afternoon, on a private tour from Bath. The tour includes a private guided tour around Stonehenge and includes pre-booked admission into Stonehenge.
I will drive you to Stonehenge (just under 1 hour from Bath) and I will guide you around the Visitor Centre and the stone circle to explain its history, why this particular location may have been chosen and the most recent archaeological findings. Built thousands of years ago the exact purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery. Some believe it was a ceremonial place for the Land of the Dead, others believe it to be a site of great energy. At the end of our visit you can form your own opinion!
There will be plenty of time to see Stonehenge and take photos. At the end of the tour I will drive you back to Bath.
This tour is available daily and can be done either in the morning or in the afternoon. The tour duration is approx. 4 hours (the duration may be longer whilst COVID-19 guidelines are in place due to the walk to the stone circle).
Pick-up is available from all Bath hotels and central locations in the city - such as the Bath Spa train station. I can also include this tour on a transfer to and from Bath (e.g. London, Southampton) - please contact me for prices.
INSIDER TIP: On certain days of the month Stonehenge provide access inside the stone circle. These take place outside of regular opening hours and may require an early start from Bath. Places are limited to 30 people and tend to book out months in advance. If you are planning your trip several months in advance and you are interested in doing this check out my Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour.
