BATH AND STONEHENGE TOUR OVERVIEW
Private day tour from Bath exploring 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the beautiful city of Bath and one of Britain's most famous attractions - Stonehenge.
In the morning I will take you on a private walking tour of Bath, the city where I was born and grew up. You will see Bath's famous sights and hear fascinating stories about the city and past residents such as Jane Austen.
After lunch we will visit Stonehenge. I will guide you around the Visitor Centre and the stone circle. Knowing the history and theories behind Stonehenge really enhances a visit so I will share these with you along with its unusual stories! I have attended talks by archaeologists who have worked at Stonehenge and I will share with you the latest discoveries (there were 2 major discoveries in the summer of 2020!)
After exploring Stonehenge I will drive you back to Bath.
Tour duration: Full day - we will return to Bath around 5pm
Tour frequency: Daily
Start time: 9am
Meeting point: Your accommodation in Bath or a central location in Bath e.g. the railway station.
Tour price: Depends on the number of people in your group (maximum 6 people) and the time of year as Stonehenge charge more in the summer months. The price for 2 people start from £510 (total) and includes your entrance tickets into Stonehenge.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
During our tour of Bath we do not go inside any of the museums e.g. the Roman Baths museum.
Lunch and refreshments are not included in the price. I will book a table for lunch at a charming traditional pub.
This tour can be done as a sightseeing transfer to/from Bath. Please contact me for prices.
INSIDER TIP: On certain dates Stonehenge provides access inside the stone circle (something you can not do on a normal visit). These take place outside of regular opening hours and may require an early start from Bath or a late return to Bath. Places are limited to 30 people and tend to book out months in advance. If you are planning your trip several months in advance and you are interested in doing this please contact me as it may be possible to combine a tour of Bath with a special inner circle tour. A surcharge will apply for the inner circle access.
