About

BATH INSIDER TOURS

Located in the city of Bath, Bath Insider Tours offers private guided tours for visitors to Bath.  All of the tours are run by Daniel who was born and grew up in Bath giving you the chance to meet and talk to someone from the area. Using his insider knowledge each tour has been specially designed to give you an interesting insight into the area and create wonderful memories from your visit.

In addition to tours in and around the city of Bath, Bath Insider Tours also offers tours to local attractions in the region, an area affectionately known as the West Country by locals. These include Stonehenge, Avebury, Wells, Glastonbury and the spectacular Cheddar Gorge. If you have more than one day in Bath these are certainly worth considering.

As these tours are private if you have any particular interests please notify Daniel in advance so that he can customise your tour to reflect these.

In addition to the private tours Daniel has set-up a self-guided audio tour of Bath and a public 2 hour walking tour of Bath. More information on these can be found under Tours in Bath.

About the Guide

DANIEL

I was born in Bath in the 1970s and have been fortunate to grow up in this beautiful city.  With a passion for travel I have explored many countries in the world from Europe to Latin America, Asia and Australia. However as Dorothy says in the film The Wizard of Oz - there's no place like home; and so after spending a number of years working for the tour operator Audley Travel where I designed tours and incredible experiences for people visiting countries within South East Asia I decided to set-up my own business, Bath Insider Tours, where I could welcome and create amazing experiences for people coming to my home city, Bath.

In 2017 I took my parents to Argentina and Brazil to share with them many of the wonders I had seen when I travelled around South America in my younger years.  During this visit we saw a waitress wearing a t-shirt which said "Don't kill time - make the most of it". How true! For me this sums up travelling and many other things. I hope during your travels you will let me help you make the most out of your time in Bath.

I look forward to welcoming you soon.
