WELLS
HALF-DAY TOUR

PRIVATE AFTERNOON TOUR EXPLORING THE CHARMING CATHEDRAL CITY OF WELLS

WELLS HALF-DAY TOUR OVERVIEW

Explore England's smallest city on this private afternoon tour from Bath.

The charming city of Wells is located just under an hour's drive from Bath. The city is renowned for its impressive 13th century cathedral, it is one of my favourite cathedrals in the region. The cathedral's beautiful architecture is complemented by a number of unique features such as a clock which is one of the oldest in the world.

I will take you on a private walking tour of the city. We will visit the cathedral and the nearby Vicars Close which is said to be the oldest residential street in Europe. We will also visit the picturesque gardens of the Bishops Palace, a site often missed by the few tour groups that visit Wells.  As we walk around the city fans of the cult-film "Hot Fuzz" may recognise a number of places as Wells was used as "Sandford" - the main location in the film!

At the end of the tour I will drive you back to Bath, we will return around 6:30pm.
