Please note that there are no inner circle dates in October nor November. I do not pre-purchase tickets so if there are no tickets available for your dates I will not be able to take you on a tour.
STONEHENGE INNER CIRCLE TOUR OVERVIEW
This is a unique Stonehenge experience! We will visit Stonehenge when it is closed to the public and go inside the stone circle - something you can not do during the normal public opening hours.

I will guide you around the stone circle, explaining its history and the latest archaeological findings. I will point out interesting features and tell you about Stonehenge's unusual stories! The experience includes a tour around the stone circle and a tour inside the stone circle.

Tour duration: 3.5 - 4 hours
Tour frequency: Tours are subject to availability and are only available on certain days of the month. There are no tours in October nor November and there are no tours in the days around the solstices and the equinoxes.
Start time: Tours are operated after sunrise and around sunset. Please see Additional Information for more information.

Meeting point: Your accommodation in Bath or a central location in Bath such as the railway station.

Tour price (2025): £360 for your private group (maximum 6 people). This includes my entrance ticket so that I can accompany you throughout. You will need to purchase your inner circle tickets. After booking I will send you instructions for purchasing these. Tickets, up to March 2026, cost £70 per adult with discounts for children.

ADDITIONAL INFO
We will spend approx. 50 minutes at the stone circle (inside and outside the circle). The whole experience takes 1 hour. It will not be possible to visit the Stonehenge Visitor Centre during the tour as it will be closed.
The site will be closed to the public but we will join other visitors who have Inner Circle tickets (the slots are limited to 52 people). I will be your private guide throughout.

You will be exposed to the weather at Stonehenge and you will be walking on grass so please dress accordingly. It can get cold!

Stonehenge offers different times for the inner circle tours depending on the hours for sunlight. The earliest time is at 5:30am in the summer months. Other times, depending on the time of year, include 6:45am and 8am; and in the afternoon/evening: 4:45pm, 6:45pm and 8pm. Your pick-up time will be approx. 1.5 hours before these times.

This Stonehenge tour is based on a pick-up and drop-off in Bath but it can be customised for other locations. The tour can also be customised to include other attractions in the area e.g. Salisbury Cathedral and the Magna Carta, a walking tour of Bath, famous villages.
