Bath Insider Tours is delighted to announce that it has won a Bronze Award in the South West England Tourism Excellence Awards in their "Experience of the Year" category. This follows on from Bath Insider Tours' success in winning the local Bristol Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards in the same category in February.
The South West Tourism Excellence Awards recognises leading tourism businesses in the South West of England. There are awards for businesses such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, attractions and the Experience of the Year category recognises those businesses who are providers of truly memorable and immersive activities for visitors.
I set up Bath Insider Tours to create wonderful experiences for people visiting my home city of Bath and the surrounding area and so this award is a fantastic recognition of this. I am honoured to have been ranked among leading tourism business that operate in the different counties that make up the South West of England. My congratulations to all the businesses who won awards and who have received recognition for the great work they are doing for visitors.
The awards ceremony took place in Exeter last Thursday. I was on a full day tour with guests that day so there was not the opportunity to get changed into my tuxedo to receive the award - but I was wearing my trademark hat...!
Later I couldn't resist doing one of my trademark jumps with the award on one of my favourite streets in Bath...!
